Don Anderson is a Storyboard Artist with over 17 years experience. He is an expert in a variety of styles,
including Digital and Traditional Media, Color and Black & White.
Don’s varied career in the entertainment business started on low budget horror movies, TV shows and music videos, and Illustration work including CD-Rom's, Movie Posters and Websites. Don’s talents have been sought out by such diverse companies as Mattel, Shell Oil, and the NOVO Philharmonic Orchestra, and his profile and work were featured prominently in the book Exploring Storyboarding (Thomson Delmar Press). 2008 has been a busy year. Don storyboarded Blood Shot, a film pitting Vampires against Terrorists. Other recent films include Spacious Skies, Here’s Herbie, Silver Ghost and Senior Prank. Don has also storyboarded a number of trailers for major companies, including the Roland Emmerich movie 2012, Pixar’s Toy Story 3 and most recently Pirates of the Caribbean Online game. Branching out into online design, Don has created work for Cheetah Girls-One World, High School Musical 2, Jetix TV Pyramid, Pass the Plate, Nokiah, Goal 2, Hyundai, MTV and Disney’s Archives department. His web game artwork includes illustrating interstitial story scenes as well as game screen levels for the Pathfinder movie site, character animations for The Full Monty DVD site, illustrations for Pass The Plate’s Kitchen Clash game, The Illusionist movie site, and designs for Daisy Dress Up. Don’s work can also be found in the Marketing Campaigns for Phineas & Ferb, Hatching Pete, and Nature of the Beast, and DVD Designs for Speed Racer: The Next Generation and Disney’s Oliver & Company. For his advertising storyboards, Don’s worked on Denny’s Sizzling Skillets, TNA Impact game, Yacult probiotic drink, and Quilted Northern among others. Also known for his concept illustration and character design, Don was asked to conceptualize Bigfoot designs for a movie project based on the legendary creature. He’s also animated a Dragon logo for a new TV pilot, Dragonfire,. Wanting to branch out in his creative endeavors, Don took on the mantle of directing a few years ago, and he has two completed short films, Cereal Killer and Undo Undone. Don has also recently been contracted by TrueFriend Productions to write his second feature script, Demonji Joe. Don lives and works in Santa Monica, California. |
